- Gathering the data on the status of the marine and coastal zone of Maintirano region and the different zones of biological importance between the site of exploitation in Tsimiroro and Maintirano in order to improve existing port or to find new potential site to evacuate by tankers the oil produced and to identify options of itineraries for the pipeline.
- Description of the main habitats of marine and coastal biodiversities of the region;
- Description of the potential sites and the different sites of biological interest in the zone;
- Recommendation on the potential itineraries of the pipeline and the potential sites of the port.
