The development of the Management Plan and Social and Environmental Safeguard Plan for Madagascar’s future Marine Protected Area in the Deep South was carried out for WCS.
- Collecting, compiling and analyzing data and information, especially during public consultations;
- Analyzing appropriate management structure taking into account the local context and size of the site as well as local dynamics;
- Writing the management plan and the social safeguard plan following the guidelines published by the Directorate in charge of the System of Protected Areas in Madagascar (SAPM).
