CIRAD works with developing countries to generate and pass on new knowledge, support agricultural development and fuel the debate on the main global issues concerning agriculture. In Madagascar, CIRAD is a leading research institution in sustainable forestry, forest conservation and the sustainable use of biodiversity.
RESOLVEās major collaboration with CIRAD and other partners (including ESSA-Forests, FOFIFA and IRD) was to undertake the first nationwide evaluation of experience in community-based natural resources management, resulting in a leading publication co-edited with Resolve (see our publications).
